Hello Guys, I'm back with another riveting tale and yes, It happened.

I used to be a hopeless romantic and this pattern continued for about 7 years straight. There was nothing new to relationship with the opposite sex that I had no knowledge about. My friends called me the 'relationship encyclopedia'.

I was their teacher, counselor and matchmaker when it came to relationships. So in my early teenage years and early twenties; I had dated a total number of 20 guys. I didn't believe in long term relationships, it was a waste of time and energy to me. So I had fun changing partners over little problems. This continued till I clocked 26 years.

Fast forward to this point in my life, I clocked 30 in the month of May. My turning point came when Ajigbade Okunola and I parted ways. Among my 20 partners, I loved Ajigbade the most; I fell head over heels in love with him. There was nothing I couldn't do for him; but he never reciprocated the love back to me. He was aware of how I deeply loved him but he constantly molested and abused me, verbally, emotionally, physically. There was a time I got pregnant for him, but he used constant kicks and punches to remove the pregnancy.

Yes I stayed despite the abuse because I loved him genuinely and constantly prayed for a change of heart for him. I even lost my well paying job as a result of his behavior. I became so depressed that my family and friends were worried and kept on insisting I walk out of the relationship but I vehemently objected to it. The day came when I received a call from an unknown number... The next 2 months after the call, I was hospitalized. The caller told me to come down to Landmark Event Center in Lagos that I had to come see Ajigbade for myself. Without giving it thought, the mere mention of Ajigbade's name made me pick up my car keys and within 20 minutes, I was at Landmark Event Center. I had not entered one of the halls, when I saw my 'Supposed Prince Charming' and I passed out.

Before I passed out, I saw my Ajigbade looking happy and carrying another lady with both of them dressed as a wedding couple, they had just finished taking the marriage vows and had been pronounced as husband and wife. The bride looked so radiant and Ajigbade saw me but pretended not to. The painful part on sighting them as well was the growing bump signifying pregnancy as I looked at the bride. But I the foolish one had an abortion for him and miscarriage which was his making.

I was later told at the hospital by my family that it was Ajigbade's family that rushed me to the hospital when I fell before passing out. The impact of what Ajigbade did lasted for 2 years; I almost died. But I healed up and drew closer to God and my family. There were other suitors coming around but I was no longer interested in love. I traveled out of the country to undergo a course training at my office headquarters in Texas. I came back shortly and met Gabriel Duncan.

So I woke up on the 10th of December 2016 to a beautiful and we'll coordinated proposal by my heart throb. It was heaven on earth and 3 months later, we had a grand wedding ceremony in Athens. The journey was not easy but at last I got married.

When we met, I paid no attention to Richard because of Ajigbade for about 6 months; I was still recovering from the heart break. It was when I got back to the country from my one year course training that we started communicating. We started off as friends but started dating early 2016, got engaged to him at the end of the same year and got married on the 8th of April this year. I would describe my wedding as every girl's dream wedding. From the decor to the event itself; it was indeed magical. I had a destination wedding for the exchange of vows and reception party but the traditional engagement was done in Lagos. My wedding day was glorious and I am now proudly called Mrs Tolani Duncan. True love does exist; don't give up no matter the challenges you faced in the past, it was only a stepping stone to greatness.
