The wedding day is certainly important for the Bride but also your wedding is not complete if your wedding train is not looking good or as good as you and the groom. Before choosing bridesmaid dresses, there are points to consider to achieve great results at the end of the day. These points are both for the Bride to be and the bridesmaids.

Plan in Advance: This is essential to avoid disappointment or problems with the bridesmaids dresses. As a Bride, you should plan in advance for them at least 3 months before the wedding.

Be Conscious of Cost: You should also consider cost when choosing fabric for the dresse. Put into consideration that not everyone is financially buoyant to afford expensive fabric options.

Create a Vision Board: Provide options for your girls. Like the type of fabric, length of the dress, colour you want.

Have them pick their own: Let your bridesmaids pick their own type of fabric as well, the design and style.

Have your bridesmaids vote: Everyone won't like the same thing. One man's choice will not sit with the other person. So you should have each of them vote for the design, fabric they want and majority should have the upper hand.

Choose a Designer: When you are certain what you and your bridesmaids want, you should choose a designer if the dress is going to be sewn. But if you would rather buy, you can opt for a particular designers collection or just buy the dresses from a store or online merchant.

Be understanding: It's certainly your wedding day but as a Bride you should be ready to compromise to a certain extent on what your girls decide to put on for the wedding. After all, they would be paying with their money and not yours. So try to be flexible in your decision.

Just pick a colour: It's advisable to pick one colour instead of multiples to avoid dispute and achieve harmony. But if your bridesmaids are cool with different colour option, you can as well go for it.

Never make it about you: This is for the bridesmaids. Inasmuch as the Bride allows you choose your preference for the dress, you should never make it about you. It's not your wedding day so whatever you want to select, try to check that it also sits well with the bride's vision for her day.

Gift the bridesmaids with something useful: You may not be able to cover the cost of the dresses for the bridesmaids but you should certainly gift them with something like paying for their hairdo, makeup, or accommodation on that day at least to make them happy to be part of your train and not feel burdened with the idea of sorting all the bills from their personal credit cards.
